YTNF Moldova - Future Activities Report of the Meeting “YTNF Future Activities”
Goal of the meeting: to establish the concrete steps for implementing the PMT ideas regarding work-camps in 2007.
Short introduction: During summer, even if the PMT volunteers had holidays (seaside, grandparents, camps), they also had time to involve in instructive activities: a Human Rights Workshop and two local seminars (Fundraising, and "Writing Project Proposals"). And now, after we all know how to write projects, and how to get funds for our ideas, we organized a meeting for establishing a concrete plan of actions.
Agenda of the meeting:
-
Announcing the contest for the best YTNF volunteer for 2006. Brainstorming: how does a good and bad volunteer look like in your vision.
-
Mentor contest: “I am the light of your life” for the 2 new EVS volunteers.
-
How to become an AVI member or an AVI volunteer? General Annual meeting – 25 November
-
What is a work-camp? Discussion with participants (sharing experience of those who have already participated/organized a work-camp)
-
How to organize a work-camp. Basic steps – general plan of action.
-
Ideas for work-camps in 3 areas: Social Inclusion, Human Rights, Racism and Xenophobia. 1 person – 1 sheet of paper – 1 idea.
-
Each participant presents his own idea. After having a big list of ideas, we have chosen the most realistic ones.
-
Three working groups are developing the chosen ideas, dividing responsibilities, setting deadlines. Team-work.
The agenda was followed exactly in the way it was planed.
Participants have also contributed with some energizing games when it was needed.
