I am the excited AVI Steering Group Representative!
The Association of International Volunteering offers the young people from Moldova the opportunity to get actively involved in the national social activities.
I truly hope that for the duration of these 3 years, a lot of youngsters will learn precious information "ABOUT" and "FOR" intercultural understanding, diversity, etc!
It is very important to analize the problems , searching deep in their roots: personal level and, surely, to know how to question ourselves about our own attitude, way of thinking, degree of tolerance, etc and just afterwards, step by step, see the existing problems at the interpersonal, institutional, cultural and , of course, social level!
I truly hope that this project will have a big impact on the Moldovan society, especially on the new generation, and that more and more of us will realize that "People are NOT labels" I would like to wish good luck to all our partner organizations and as Edmund Burke once affirmed "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do little", so lets do a nice job for our communities and little by little improve the current situation!
