The group was established in autumn 2006, when several volunteers expressed interest to deal with the issues of racism and xenophobia, and developed idea for a project aimed to address the issues of racism and xenophobia in Ukrainian society in general, research and compare cases and differences from Eastern and Western regions of Ukraine, attitudes of East and West towards each other, discuss and compare cases from other European countries . It is also planned to organize public activities to raise awareness and promote anti-racism behavior. The main activity of the project is international study visit, which itself would be an example of tolerant and anti-racist behavior. The project also includes exhibition and a seminar. The project is planned to take place in summer and autumn 2007, please see “Future activities” for more details.
