10.11.06 – “Dance for Life” – A program focusing on raising awareness about rights of people living with HIV, prepared by Volunteers of the Regional AIDS Center.

11.11.06 – Lecture “Fight for Nations’ Rights in the World” by Young Scholars

12.11.06 – Lecture “Federalism, Regional Rights, and Rights of Aboriginals” by Young Scholars

From the 13-18th of November, there will be an Essay and Comics Contest on the theme of Tolerance and Crystal Night at Buryat University – Department of French Language and Literature. The best submissions from these contests will be presented at our exhibition.

During the last week of the exhibition, the following activities took place: 2.11.06. – Documentary on the situation in Byelorussia 4.11.06 – Lecture “Human Rights Issues in Tibet” by Young Scholars 5.11.06 – Lecture “Human Rights in Buryatia: Past, Present, and Future” by Young Scholars On the 7th and 8th of November, a 5-minute program was shown several times on a local TV station. On the 20th October the new exhibition on human rights prepared by human rights PMT of Siberian Creative Group was opened in Ulan-Ude. The opening was attended by around 30 people, including several prominent VIPs, officials, journalists and of course many young people of the city. Details...
