Not know yet how to spend your summer vacation (rather than being bored on a beach)?
There are more than 1000 international workcamps around the world waiting for you this Summer! In an international workcamp you will meet special people (like yourself) who want to do something meaningful to change the world by helping a local community. Besides doing some interesting practical work in the social or ecological field, you will have the opportunity to gain new friends from all over the world, share your different cultures, practice your foreign language, sample different recipes, engage in intriguing discussions and get an inside view of the country where you are staying. You will also have lots of fun in the process!
Besides broadening your own horizons, workcamps will teach you to act locally while thinking globally, you will return home with a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you will never forget!
Interested? Check the workcamp databank under www.sciint.org to find a project that matches up with your expectations! Accommodation and food on the workcamp are free, you just have to arrange your own travel and pay a modest registration fee to your sending organisation.
