On 26th October it was announced that the German jury of the UN Decade on sustainable development has voted to designate SCI Germany as an "Official UN Decade Project". The official presentation of the award will be held on 29th November during the third UN Round Table of the UN decade "Education for Sustainable Development". Details...

In October & November 10 new LTVs from Poland, Germany, Sweden, Slovakia & the Czech Republic are starting their 10-month voluntary service in Russia, Moldova and Ukraine in the frame of "Capacity Building Stage X", which is financially supported by the European Voluntary Service Programme of the EU. All the volunteers are being encouraged to actively participate in the PMT activities planned in each country.
