Moldavian Evening to the Charity Center for Refugees
Today, 26th of June, at the initiative and invitation of Tolerance Club Moldova, the volunteers of AVI Moldova plan to organize a nice national evening for the Charity Center for Refugees.
The Agenda:
- Meeting the participants
- Division of the participants in 4 groups
- Visiting the following workshops by each group:
- National Holidays and customs
- Casa Mare and the life style of Moldovans
- The history of Moldova and Chisinau
- National Arts and folklore
Afterwards, is planned a cultural programme which will include national dances, national songs and national food :)
Chernovtsy (Ukrainian Chernivtsy, German Czernowitz) is a regional center in Western Ukraine, along with Lviv is considered to be cultural center of Western Ukraine. The city has a rich history, architecture and cultural background (in different periods it was part of Turkish Empire, Austrian-Hungarian Empire and Romania, the city is called ‘little Vienna” or “European Alexandria” because of its rich cultural and historic backgrounds), and very multi-national community.
