Report on “Partnership in Action” training course.

We have great news:
It was very successful event with the great and creative participants, with the real results and long term plans for future, with very efficient and warm atmosphere.

From 10 till 16 April 2008 in the frame of the large scale project «Youth Transcending New Frontiers» was realized training course for multipliers «Partnership In Action». Event took place in Belarus, not far from the capital - Minsk city.
There were following representatives of the organizations on the event – AVI Moldova, SCG Russia, SCI Germany, SVIT Ukraine, IVS Greet Britain, Sodrushestvo Russia, SCI International, RADA, NG SCI Belarus and long term volunteers from Czech and Sweden, who are working now in Ukraine and Belarus. In total it was 30 participants.
The trainer’s team were consists from two professional trainers and international preparation team. Trainer’s team succeed to have a clear and correct plan and realization of the training, and also to involve all participants in the active participation in the training.

The name of the training “Partnership in action” saying clear about everything that happened during the event.

Except the theoretical educational block, this had covered the following topics:
- defining the notion of “partnership”;
- general acquaintance with the forms and possibilities of long-term partnerships;
- getting acquainted with aims of creation of partnership unions;
- getting acquainted with effectiveness of a partnership union work;
- looking at positive and negative sides of a partnership network as related to organizations participating in it;
- analyzing reasons why NGOs and individuals have problems in cooperation;
- analyzing circumstances and “rules of the game” in partnership networks;
- identifying the notion of social partnership.

During the training were a lot of practical tasks, role games and join activities. Participants had applied for acquired knowledge into practice (with the help of interactive games and group work); they had came to realizing the joint character of aims of youth work in Europe, necessity and possibility of cooperation; exchanged the experience that took place, new contacts had acquired that, in a long-term perspective, will grow into sustainable partnership bounds between organizations and multipliers.

And the most important block was – creating joint future:
Educational nets of multipliers in the sphere of human rights and social inclusion, determining rules, frame conditions of partnership, determining responsibilities and creating an action plan and a strategy for further fundraising activities.
As it looks like that the most important part of this block was analyze of the project YTNF and developing future common projects. Analyze of the YTNF – is experience of the real cooperation on the topic of Human Rights, Social inclusion and anti racism, it is experience of the 3 years cooperation in frame of innovative project! Also in this block participants had present their project for cooperation and to find co-minders for its realization. In total were developed 3 projects – 2-3 lateral and on as the continuation of the large scale project YTNF – large scale project YTNF +(plus). Why YTNF +? Because now more countries and organizations would like to join the project, and because this level of cooperation looks efficient and successful. In this project developing had participate 8 interesting organizations. However, it still need to invest a lot of time and efforts for developing this project, but all participants were very inspired and full of energy for it. We are young, we knew how to do it, we have a lot of interesting ideas, we want to make this world better, we want to do it together, interesting and joyful and wish to change this world for better.

To be continue…..

The sessions were planned in such a way that you couldn't feel bored or tired. I think that it is a very important point which was accomplished with success by the organizers of this event. All the trainers were professionals and did their job as good as possible. The information was delivered to the audience with clarity and enthusisasm. They were able to capture our attention and involve us in a spirited debate. We were in a permanent interaction with them, so that the sessions have never become some kind of theoretical lessons. I especially enjoyed the sessions which were leaded by Daniela and Reghina. We have ceceived a lot of new and useful information regarding the notion of "Partnershp". Details...
