Was the catchy title
Donetsk, “Lesnaya polyana” hotel, May 19-20 – place and date
22 young, fresh from overnight travel participants, including the prep-team who slept 2 hours to prepare the program
This is what we have started with.
We ended with creating great group atmosphere, where people felt safe and comfortable, focused for learning, open to different games, simulations and exercises. We covered all the topics planned, discussed future steps and got a lot of energy, ideas and inspiration to continue with volunteer work and international volunteer projects. We got new leaders enthusiastic about volunteer projects, willing to co-organize and contribute to them. Details...

There's no doubt that the Peer Education seminar that took place in Ulan-Ude in the beggining of May was really good. We [the participants] received a lot of useable and useful information on peer education methods and tested some of them ourselves:) What I really liked was that we got the knowledge and I dare say skills to work with peers that we'll be able use in very close future. The volunteers running the workshop were: Cezar Cernei, Alina Secrieru, Carolina Secrieru and Daniel Nylin Nilsson.
Every Thursday in the charity center is dedicated to the presentation of national cultures. Often this will be the culture of the refugees home countries, but on this day AVI volunteers took on the task to present Moldovan culture.

This slogan on a presentation made me ask myself, why – this phrase means “Little ducks - time to start”. Antonina, who was the creator of this presentation, simply answered – to draw attention.
Our seminar definitely drew attention. The title may be not so creative, “Volunteering and volunteer projects”, but on our call we received over 30 applications and numerous calls and requests after the deadline was due. Details...

On 27th April, at 14.30, YTNF volunteers from AVI-Moldova, forgathered in the Central Park of Chisinau. There is a fountain in the middle of the park where people usually sit on the sides, lots of alleys where people go for walk or stop and take a seat on the benches.
In the middle of this wonderful atmosphere, YTNF Moldova volunteers organized a Free Hugs event.
At the beginning we splat in small teams, consisting of 2-3 persons. Wearing our “YTNF” tee-shirts, we took our “Free hugs posters” and started our “Free Hugs campaign”. There were many people very likely to receive hugs : ).
The quaintest occurrence was when two police officers approached and asked what political party we represent. Details...
