We worked all in all ten days from nine in the morning till two or three o ‘clock in the afternoon with around one hour lunch break. The result of our work is a cleaned field section 33 and two rows of field section 34 that follows behind field section 33. The field section 33 is located behind the “ceremony hall” and the grave field of famous Jewish personalities of Chernovtsy. We assume that we cleaned 2-3 % of the total area of the cemetery, a drop on the hot stone as the director of the Christian- Jewish cemetery said during a television interview. Details...

One can only speculate as to the reasons that drove the Georgian government at this particular moment to send its troops to attack its breakaway province of South Ossetia, or whether its closest ally, the US, has given its approval for such a step. In any case, after 3 days of heavy fighting, and the tragic deaths of hundreds of civilians and young soldiers, the status quo has almost been returned, with the possible exception that in the future South Ossetia will resist even more being ruled by the central government in Tbilisi. When both Georgia and Russia joined the Council of Europe they both solemnly agreed & signed the convention to solve conflicts by peaceful means. Details...

Good deal of laugh, Spanish and Moldovan dances, Yoga, strange breakfasts (noodles with some meat?), some sun-burn and tan, some abrasions for brave swimmers who enjoyed the waves too much, lots of nice pictures, ideas, impressions, views of ancient Khersones – to be compared with the picture on Ukrainian hryvna. This we have as balance for Advanced Project Management training. Despite sun and sea, we had constructive working atmosphere, kept most participants captivated by the training, and put many spoonfuls of info on project cycle management, developing projects, managing time, finances and people, fundraising and crisis management, features of successful manager.
