Training in human rights in Korsakovo
Trainings in human rights were held by PMT in a school of Korsakovo village in Kabansky region of Buryatia for 22 students of 8-10 grades on 20-23 March 2008. During introduction seminar such issues as the role of youth in the changing world, their contribution to the social change and the importance of civil service were discussed. Then the participants did exercises on cooperation and communication. Within the human rights training the participants learnt about the notion of human rights, general human rights, and citizenship.
PMT had conversations with headmasters of Korsakovo and Oimur schools on the perspectives of future cooperation in the field of human rights education and the organization of performances of French circus artists in the villages. The headmasters were genuinely interested in all projects and expressed their willingness to help organize the concerts.
