Campaign on healthy life style
Social Inclusion PMT designed and implemented a campaign on healthy life style. From October 22 till 28 th October volunteers conducted 48 trainings in 12 schools for 960 children .
Our group decided to work with rural youth, because they compare to urban youth do not have free Internet access, limited TV channels access; also rural youth encounters big problems with leisure: no cafes, cinema, parks, theatres, very rare cultural activity. All of this has a negative effect on their consciousness in the form of lack of human rights awareness, not great cultural gap and so on. Therefore the most of rural young people drink more alcohol, than their peers in a city; they are accumulating inner aggressive attitude towards the whole world, where they do not see any perspective for themselves.
Our trainings helped young people to look at themselves and at the world differently, to become aware of all harmful consequences when drinking alcohol and smoking, and to know about their potentialities and perspectives.
