"World without borders" - project run by Social Inclusion PMT

We are planning that 20 students, originally from the villages of Buryatia Republic, will go through the training course, as a result will become volunteers-multipliers (further volunteers) and will travel around the villages in Buryatia Republic and ABAO and run lessons on 6 topics:

1. «Social designing»;
2. «Leadership»;
3. «Healthy life-style»;
4. «Consultation as a method of making decisions in a group of volunteers»;
5. «Voluntary project management»;
6. Training on Human rights »;

Our group has already organized trainings out of the city for rural youth and the results received made us to conclude that it is important to continue this work. Our trainings helped young people to look at themselves and at the world differently, to know about their potentialities and perspectives. Questioning of young people after the trainings showed that the main special feature of our training methodic for the most of them is its simplicity (the training is realized by their peers), as well as modern methods (different from those used at school) and approaches used in the process of training. Our group is constantly looking for new ways of training through changing training program as the needs of the participants require.
Therefore we have prepared this program, which is to help rural young people to gain new knowledge, new skills.
The strong point of our project is that the trainings for rural youth are run by young people originally from rural areas as well, who know very well the problems of young people living in the villages.
The title of the project: “World without borders” implies that the volunteers, by organizing trainings will broaden world view of the young people living in the villages, discovering together diversity of ways for personal growth revealed through voluntary activity.
