We met on 13 February 2008 to prepare materials for the Consultation training. The following topics were identified and discussed: mental models, definition of consultation, its steps, and basics, relations and skills necessary for consultation, characteristics and rules of consultation.

On 24 February training in consultation as a method of decision making was successfully held for the Training Centre of the “Association of Youth Unions of the Republic of Buryatia.” 8 members of the Training Centre took part in the event.

Human Rights PMT has also prepared materials for Social Planning training, such as development and civil service projects, consultation process, relations of cooperation, and social enterprise. A meeting was held on grant application writing. The participants wrote their associations on the notion of human rights and volunteering. Preparation of materials for trainings on human rights is conducted on a regular basis. Recently we have started a new training on development and civil service.

On 10 March a training on human rights for 8 members of the NGO “Youth of Kizhinga” was held. It is worth mentioning that the training was conducted by beginner trainers of SCG. Most of the participants were also those who are just starting their way in volunteering. Everyone enjoyed the training. The following are some of the feedback:
